About Terra Grain Fuels

Terra Grain Fuels is currently constructing an ethanol plant in the Rural Municipality of Pense No.160, near Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan that is designed to produce approximately 150 million litres of ethanol annually and 163,800 tonnes of dried distillers grains annually.

Ethanol is a clean-burning, renewable fuel made from agricultural products such as wheat or corn. Distillers grains are a co-product of wheat and corn based ethanol that are used as animal feed. Terra Grain Fuels anticipates that the construction of its ethanol plant will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2007. The plant will purchase and consume over 15 million bushels of locally grown wheat per year. Our commitment to using locally grown wheat will assist in attaining a profitable and sustainable Saskatchewan wheat market, providing producers with greater flexibility for the future.
